Having grown up around his dad's Volkswagen business and racing it is no surprise that after college Owner/Driver Brian decided he wanted to combine the two.

Brian started his love affair with racing at Long Island's local Riverhead Raceway, competing in the 4-cylinder enduro class. This stock class satisfied Brian's need for speed for sometime, but eventually curiosity got the best of him and he set his sights on drag racing.

Brian came across a VW dune buggy and together with his dad Bill (team mechanic) created Technical Difficulties Racing "signature" vehicle

The pair hit some bumps in the road as is almost too customary for many race teams. The car was set to make its debut numerous times before it finally did in April 2006 at NJ's Englishtown Raceway.

Since Long Island no longer has any more quarter mile drag strips many of the events the car has been to are treated as practice for the novice driver, who has been faced with some disappointing and frustrating set backs at times.

A recent relocation to PA for Brian and team manager Jeanmarie hopefully holds the key to working all the "bugs" (no pun intended) out of the vehicle!

In his spare time Brian runs a small online business mainly specializing in rare used VW parts and pieces. (Often times there is more then just VW in stock, check the For Sale section of the web page or Email)

Brian also likes to keep himself busy by learning new skills. Check out the 'Projects" section of the web page to see some of his latest creations.
